We can send an email notification to the registrant contact of each of your domains once they fall within 1, 7, 15, 30 or 60 days before the domain is due to expire.
While the 7 and 30 day warnings are mandatory, the 1, 15 and 60 day warnings can be turned on or off in your Account Preferences.
We can also send an email reminder to the to the registrant contact 7 days before your domain is due to be renewed. You can turn this reminder on in your Account Preferences.
If you choose to customise the Domain Email Sender for these notifications, it's important to ensure that the SPF record for the sender's domain includes our mail server. Failure to do so may result in email delivery issues. For successful delivery, the domain's TXT record should include the following SPF entry:
v=spf1 a mx include:_spf.sitehost.co.nz ~all
This ensures that our mail server is authorised to send emails on behalf of your domain.
