Redirecting a Website
Redirecting a website will cause the web server to redirect all requests for that website to another URL. There are no restrictions on where the redirection points. This is useful if you have a secondary domain that you want to direct to your primary domain and other similar situations.
Creating a Redirect
- When you are logged into the Control Panel click Websites in the left menu.
- Click on the website you want to create the redirect on.
- Click the Redirect button next the website address on the Details screen.
- Type in the full URL of where you want the redirect to go and click Update Redirect.
Updating or Removing a Redirect
- When you are logged into the Control Panel click Websites in the left menu.
- Click on the website you want to change/remove the redirect on.
- Click the "Redirect" button next to the Redirects To field.
- Either enter the new destination or remove all text from the field and click Update.
