Change Your Control Panel Password

If you can log into the Control Panel you can change your password.

If you have forgotten your password and cannot log in, you can reset it by following the instructions below.

Reset Your Forgotten Password

To reset your password you will need access to your email and the last four digits of a credit card used in the account.

1. Select the "Forgot Password" link.
2. Enter your email address and the Re-Captcha text. Click "Next".
3. You will be sent an email containing a link to reset your password. Open this link in your browser to continue.
4. Enter the last four digits of a credit card used in the account and the new password.
5. If you have multiple accounts using your email address, choose the account that you want to reset.
6. Click Next.

Your password will be reset and you will receive a confirmation email.

If you do not know the credit card details for your account, you will have to contact the credit card holder. SiteHost will not give out any credit card information.

Can SiteHost remind me what my password is?

No. For security reasons all passwords are one-way hashed so SiteHost cannot remind you what your password is.

We can reset your password for you if required.

SiteHost will contact you using the email address or phone number we have currently on file for your account. We will not give out passwords via any other medium or to any other contact source for security reasons.
