Dedicated Servers

With Dedicated Servers we custom build your very own server to your specifications and then install it in one of our data centres. Nobody else can use your server, it is completely private and can be set up exactly how you want, no matter your requirements.

Steps to Add a Dedicated Server

  1. When logged in to the Control Panel click the Add Service button in the top right.
  2. Find the tile that says "Dedicated Server" and click Add.
  3. Select which operating system you would like installed on your server.
  4. Select your plan.
  5. Choose your contract term.
  6. Select any add ons you might want (more IP's, backups or server management).
  7. Read and then check the Fixed-Term Service Agreement.
  8. Click Order Server to finalise the details of your server.

From there the order will be sent to our operations team who will organise a provision of your new dedicated server.

IP Addresses

Three IP addresses are bundled with a dedicated server plan, but you can purchase more for your server through our Control Panel. You can check out the pricing of our dedicated server addons on our website sitehost.nz.

Steps to Add More IPs to Your Dedicated Server

  1. When logged in to the Control Panel click the Servers in the left menu.
  2. Select your Server.
  3. At the bottom of the page click the Manage Ip Addresses button.
  4. Click Add IPv4 Address or Add IPv6 Address depending on which type you want.

Backups

It's always good to store your important files in a backup in case something should happen. Our automatic systems will backup your files daily and store them in a secure offsite location on our resilient storage nodes in a 7 day rotation. You can see prices on on our website.
