An auto-responder can be setup for a Mailbox, which will automatically reply to all new emails with the message specified. This can be useful for example if the user knows they will not be able to access their email for a few days. This is also commonly referred to as a "Vacation Auto-Reply".

The Auto-Responder can be enabled and disabled at any time.

Steps to Enable/Disable the Auto-Responder

Follow the steps below to set up the auto-responder for a mailbox:

  1. Select the mailbox name from the list of email addresses.

  2. Select the "Auto-responder" option.

  3. Type the message reply that will be sent to anyone who emails the email address while the Auto-Responder is enabled. (see Figure 1)

  4. Select whether or not the auto-responder should be enabled.

  5. Click "Save changes".
