Manage Account Contacts
You can add, update, or remove contacts; providing them individual logins to your account, or adding contact details that monitoring or accounting emails may be sent to.
This article describes how to perform the following actions:
- Adding an Account Contact
- Set Account Roles
- Set Contact Username
- Set Contact Password
- Change Module Access
Adding an Account Contact
In the My Account module click "Account Contacts"
Click "Add Contact", or click the "Add" button above the list of contacts. See Figure 1.
Fill out all relevant contact information. Any field with an asterisk next to it is a required field.
Click the "Create contact" button. See Figure 2.
The contact details have been added, but this contact does not currently have access to any modules or a username or password to access the control panel. To add this, follow the instructions below on setting a username and adding module access.

Setting Account Roles
Roles are used to target specific communications or features to specific users. You can add multiple roles to a contact, and also a single role across multiple contacts.
For example everyone assigned the "Accounts Role" will be emailed SiteHost invoices.
To assign or change a Role against a contact:
In the My Account module click "Account Contacts"
Click "Add Contact" or select an existing contact to edit.
Tick / Untick the Roles you want the user to have. See Figure 2 above.
Press "Update Details".
Set Username
The contact username can only be set once. If you need to change the username of a contact, the contact needs to be deleted and then recreated with the new username.
In the My Account module click "Account Contacts".
Click on the name of the account that you want to set a username for.
Click on "Set Username and Password".
Enter a username, password, and confirm the password by reentering it.
Click the "Set username" button. See Figure 3

Set Password
In the My Account module click "Account Contacts".
Click on the name of the account that you want to change the password for.
Click on "Change Password". See Figure 4
If you have not already set a username or password for this contact, you will need to follow the instructions for setting an account contact username above.
Enter the current password, a new password, and confirm the new password by reentering it.
Click the "Change password" button. See Figure 5

Change Module Access
In the My Account module click "Account Contacts".
Click on the name of the account whose modules you want to change.
Click "Update Module Access".
Check or uncheck the modules that you want to allow or disallow for this contact.
Click "Update". See Figure 6
The change in module access will take effect the next time the contact logs into the control panel.
