Creating DNS Zones

Last updated November 16th, 2017

With SiteHost you can create a DNS Zone for any domain that is using the SiteHost Name Servers

Steps to create a DNS zone

Follow these steps to create a DNS Zone:

  1. Click the "Add DNS Zone" button above the list of current DNS zones, or the "Add DNS Zone" button at your top right-hand side. (See Figure 1)

  2. Enter the domain you wish to set up the Zone file for (see Figure 2).

  3. Select the DNS Template you want to use. These are templates for a Zone file with pre-defined DNS records. The default option is "Manual DNS Settings" which has no pre-defined DNS Records.

  4. Click "+ Add DNS zone".
